Your tasks

• Smooth operation - day and night? A reality with us thanks to you: you conscientiously administer and monitor the systems, applications and services of our network security, expertly deal with faults and lifecycle management and - if all else fails - are just a phone call away.
• You keep a watchful eye on compliance with regulatory requirements and the possible further development of our technology and illuminate the way with carefully planned proof of concepts.
• You also ensure smooth processes outside of technology by writing comprehensive and comprehensible documentation, checklists, reports and work instructions.
• Of course, we also use services from internal and external partners for our system operations. You will act as a professional coordinating interface and plan the services prudently so that everything runs smoothly.
• And of course we can also count on your active cooperation and - if necessary - expert management in IT projects.

Your profile

• Training / studies in the IT sector or a comparable qualification
• Specialist knowledge in IT security technology (system, infrastructures, etc.) and in the administration of firewalls from common manufacturers
• Secure know-how of specific technologies in the IT security environment (IDS, IPS, identity awareness, etc.)
• Independent, self-reliant and conscientious way of working, diligence and problem-solving skills
• Time flexibility (production changes usually take place at night) as well as occasional willingness to travel and to be on call (every 2 months 24/7)
• Good written and spoken English and German
