On behalf of our trusted client, we are looking for an experienced:

Chief accountant

Main activities:

· Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to optimize profitability and ensure sustainable growth and manage financial operations.

· Compliance with all regulatory requirements related to accounting records.

· Maintaining accounting books and registers in accordance with the established procedures.

· Consolidation of financial statements of several companies.

· Monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.

· Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) and others.

· Analysis of financial indicators and providing reliable information about the financial position of the company.

· Planning and controlling costs.

· Ensuring sufficient liquidity for the company.

· Conducting accounting audits.

· Consulting the management on financial issues and proposing solutions.

· Preparing forecasts and analyzes.

· Evaluating investment projects.

· Developing financial development strategies.

· Managing a team of accountants and training new employees.

· Interaction with external auditors.

· Preparation of documentation for tax audits.

· Collaborates with the Finance teams in the subsidiaries and acts as a reliable finance partner to the Senior teams.

Your qualification:

· Higher education in accounting, finance, or related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Chief Accountant position, preferably within the manufacturing and international company.

· Experience in leading a team of accountants.

· Proficiency in English.

· Deep knowledge in the field of financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, investment project evaluation.

· Excellent knowledge of the Accounting Act, the National Accounting Standards (NAS), the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulations related to accounting.

· Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.

· Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Demonstrated track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

· Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems is required.
